The Law of Supply Print E-mail

God never intended that humans should be forever satisfied. We are always striving for something better. We want to have a bigger home, a better job, or more knowledge. Whenever we achieve or acquire one thing, soon another desire for something greater develops.

Therefore, advancing one’s life is the path God intended, and it is not only our right, but our duty, to always pursue something greater. We are entitled to a full and ever increasing supply of our every desire.

Every day we attract into our lives the things we expect, good or bad. This principle is always at work. If we want more good things, and less bad ones, then we must learn the Law and understand its application. Why wouldn’t we? A conscious, intelligent use of the Law’s power will only accrue great benefits to our lives and our circumstances.

We believe, in theory, that the Creator is our supply for everything, but when it comes down to it, many tend to believe that “creature” is actually the source. We want to believe all supply comes from the Creator. But there is often uncertainty, because it’s difficult for many of us to believe in something we do not see.

If we look around and see plenty, we are willing to believe it and enjoy it. And if we believe in abundance and plenty, then we will see it. If we see lack around us, we will have a much harder time believing in plenty. So which comes first, seeing or believing?

If we look at Nature, and how She operates, we will come to understand that the latter (believing) comes first. The Law is founded on our belief, which in turn determines our sight.

A tree goes through a life cycle during which nothing in its physical essence is ever lost. It begins as an acorn, which uses the nutrients in the earth around it to grow. It sprouts leaves, and every autumn it loses them. Then they turn into mulch on the ground. Over time, they break down into carbon, which eventually forms into peat and coal. Coal is mined and burned, producing ash in the air. The ash falls to the ground, producing fuel for a new tree to grow. And the cycle continues. No part is wasted, none disappears.

Therefore, all the supply that ever was, still is, and ever will be, remains the same. And there can never be a shortage of supply. Anybody who sees lack around them does so because they do not understand the Law or know how to apply it properly. But when they learn to see differently, they will realize there is always plenty of supply about them.

Supply always follows demand. For instance, all of the parts and concepts of the automobile have always been in supply. What was missing was demand, because people could not imagine life differently than with the horse and buggy. So, “necessity gave man an idea”. It wasn’t until man could imagine a car that it could be built. The same principle applies to electric lights and airplanes. [And I expect the case will be the same with alternative fuel sources.]

Only consciousness dictates what we experience as abundance. Life is not in the abundance of what one owns, but in that which his consciousness permits him to discern.

If we worry about where our next dollar will come from, it will cause supply to be limited and restricted. The more we allow ourselves to feel fearful and worried, the worse it gets, which further limits what we can receive. It can be an ever increasing cycle of anxiety and worsening circumstances, more and more difficult to break. We must learn to relax and expand our minds to a larger state of thinking. The more we can think abundance, the more abundantly we will receive.

Your mind is like a magnet, attracting to you whatever you think about. It has tremendous power, but it must be trained to attract the things you desire. It is far better and quicker to have a mentor (somebody who fully understands the Laws) to show you how to train your mind magnet, than to learn how to do it on your own.

Most of us have not fully developed the magnetic power of our mind; therefore it tends to be rather weak and misdirected. A magnet has a certain level of power to attract like objects. Our fear and worry only weakens the power of our mental magnet, and the flow of abundance is slowly closed off. But as we charge our minds with energy, as a magnet is charged, our power of attraction increases.

Embrace Nature’s example, by taking the available substance and building on it to create something good. That substance is our thoughts. We must make sure that our thoughts are constructive in nature. Because by doing so, our mental magnet will be charged with positive powerful attraction energy. Think supply, talk supply, live supply with your every thought. Then there will be no room in your life for lack.

But don’t make the mistake of confusing money with supply. Money is only one means of supply. If you seek only money, and not other forms of supply, you will cut off the good in all other areas of your life. And money alone cannot make you happy.

Abundance and expansion is the natural state of every human being. It follows that a state of lack or poverty is simply unnatural. Nature provides freely anything which man desires. However, many have lost sight of the basic Law of supply.

If we use the Law wisely to gain supply, we will satisfy every desire. Our lives will be as complete, and wholesome, as the Universe—the Law—designed them to be.

“Learn how to tap the Source of all Supply for there is no limit to the good that may be developed and enjoyed in your life…The more man grows in true knowledge and the more he uses his powers in constructive ways, the more good he will create in the circle of his expression, in his own little world.”
