Most people believe that the laws of government are for the good
of the people, for without them chaos would ensue. Yet they are not willing to
believe that the Divine Law is even more important for human welfare and all of
mankind. Some think that living by Divine Law would be living the hard way,
when in fact the opposite is true. It is far easier living within the Law than
without.
Many
religions wrongly preach that God rewards and punishes, causes sickness and
death, can heal illnesses, can be bargained with, and is partial to certain
people. The result is that prayer is consumed with doubts, because there seems
to be no assurance of the existence of Divine Law. But knowledge and proper
application of the Divine Law is the secret to eternal happiness, peace, and
mastery over all the forces around us. [Wow!]
To obey
means to submit to certain rules or to comply with instructions you are given.
When we all submit to the rules, the entire system we are a part of works in an
orderly and efficient manner. If one or more of us disobey the rules, it can
all fall apart. Even business is founded on obedience.
Every one
of our problems, and our successes, is due to our obedience to the Law of
Thought and its Creator, God. Nature shows us that there are no problems that
cannot be overcome. That is because everything she does is governed by the Laws
of Harmony and Order, which rights every wrong, which balances every imbalance,
which supplies every need. He who does not obey Nature’s laws, such as the
farmer who plants his crops in the end of the summer, does not reap the harvest
he desires.
If you
learn the Divine Law and obey it with great precision, you will discover the
power to create the life you desire and enjoy every possible blessing. We have
mistakenly paid more attention to the physical that we perceive around us, than
to the Laws of Spirit.
“If we are
to obey the Spirit within us rather than the conditions about us, then the Law
requires us to first think things into existence from the within before we
shall see them on the without.”
What you
think about produces your results. If you worry, the Law will give you
something to worry about. You will receive only what you are expecting. So you
must know what to obey. If you obey the Law of fear, instead of the Law of God,
you will have many fears. Choose carefully.
Obedience
to the Law lets you live in the present, forget the past, and let the future
take care of itself. You will live each day to its fullest, and live in your
highest potential. This takes practice and experience to master, and you would
do well to find a mentor to
teach you.
“God’s
kingdom [the Law] is all about us, awaiting our acknowledgement or obedience of
the Law. We must be able to converse and live with God the Law, in our daily
life. Then we shall live with love and joy, with hope and wealth and peace here
and everywhere. It is ours for the decision.”
