Earlier this year a small company in Australia started marketing a movie they called The Secret. The marketing campaign was nothing short of brilliant. Using the principles they teach in the movie, as well as the Internet and viral marketing techniques, they spread the word about The Secret movie with very little other advertising.
They showed a small clip from the movie, and talked about how "The Secret would soon be revealed." Rather than attempt to push the movie out to the general public through normal marketing methods, they used the power of the Internet to build excitement and buzz.
The Secret, they promised, would reveal a powerful Law that would change the course of humanity. This Law was so powerful that it had been kept secret for centuries - hidden from the masses by powerful rulers who understood that this secret Law could alter absolutely everything. These rulers understood that the secret principles could empower ANYONE to move from poverty to riches; from a position as a lowly worker to a business owner; and, from obscurity to political power.
The Secret that was kept hidden was like the fountain of youth. Armed with this information, anyone - regardless of position in life or current circumstances - could permanently change his or her life and attain anything under the sun. Those in political or financial power feared that they would be overrun. Those with religious control feared that people would become independent of them.
Imagine having knowledge at your disposal that would help you attain every single dream you have - and then some.
Wouldn't you fight for this information?
Thus, the buzz around The Secret movie was created. Thousands of people around the world signed up within weeks so they would know as soon as the movie would become available. Then, people were allowed to watch The Secret online for less than $5. The information spread quickly, in part because of the success of the other recent movie, What The Bleep Do We Know!?.
What The Bleep revealed the science behind this thing called "The Secret." They also referred to it as the Law of Attraction. They showed how the science of quantum physics finally validates what has been long known in other circles - that we create our circumstances by what and how we think, and by where we focus our attention.
In The Secret, one after another, dozens of successful people revealed how they used the Law of Attraction to get what they wanted. The Secret, and the successful people interviewed in The Secret, started becoming more commonly known.
John Assaraf, Jack Canfield, Marie Diamond, Bob Doyle, Hale Dwoskin, John Gray, Bob Proctor, Joe Vitale, Bill Harris, Loral Langemeier, Denis Waitley, and Fred Alan Wolf - these are just a few of the successful people interviewed in the movie.
The movie - and the message - were so compelling that even Larry King jumped on the bandwagon. In November of 2006, Larry King interviewed Joe Vitale, Bob Proctor and others about their experiences and knowledge of the Law of Attraction on a special two-part series on the Larry King Live show.
Then, in early December, 2006, Ellen DeGeneres interviewed Bob Proctor and John Assaraf on her show. Ellen DeGeneres announced that she has used The Secret to get where she is today. And Larry King said, when talking about The Secret: "Sound farfetched? Think again! It's supported by science."
Why is this information spreading so quickly? The answer is simple: The principles revealed in The Secret work. The Law of Attraction works. And, they can work for you as easily as they work for Joe Vitale, Bob Proctor, Hale Dwoskin, Ellen DeGeneres, Larry King, and others.
These people are NO different from you. You have exactly the same capacity and ability to tap into the Universal Power of Conscious Creation. You, too, can create the wealth, love, and happiness that you desire.
