How often do you look at something you want and quickly tell yourself you can’t have it? Once a day? Ten times a day? All day long?
It goes something like this:
“That’s way out of my budget. There’s no way I can spend that much.”
“Who am I to think I can date someone like her?”
“Why bother calling… he’ll just say no anyway.”
“I’d like to start my own business, but I don’t know where to start.”
“Wow! That costs a LOT!”
And then there are all the other things we think but never say. We say we want more love, peace of mind, friendships, money, and happiness. But how many times every day do you remind yourself that you don’t have these things? It’s hard not thinking about it even now, isn’t it?
Imagine waking up in the morning, creating a mental image of how your day will go, and having it happen just as you’d imagined.
Now imagine that your idea of “costs too much” is ten times what it is today.
