The Book of Secrets
~ by Deepak Chopra
If you are familiar only with Chopra’s books on health and wellness, this one will be a wonderful surprise. It is in some ways the most personal of his books—he was motivated to write it by his experiences during and after the death of his father. We see glimpses into some remarkable experiences in his life that give insight into our own.

After Midnight
A Journey of 1000 Years Ends in a Single Step
~ by Margie Waters
In this fast paced world, where the news blasts us with a different thing to look at several times a day, and almost no story is followed through to any kind of conclusion, it might seem that the millennium change is a thing of the past. What, that old thing? That was years ago! |

Ask and It Is Given
Learning to Manifest Your Desires
~ by Jerry and Esther Hicks
This is absolutely one of the best books I’ve read this year. It explains very clearly how to use your emotions as a “guidance system” to determine if you are heading towards, or away from, your life’s purpose. Essentially, if you are feeling a negative emotion, it is a clear sign that you are not being true to your Self. By paying attention to how you feel, you can know whether or not you are doing the right thing, or are connecting to your Source. And with this knowledge, you can correct what you’re doing to reestablish that connection. |

The Message That Comes From Everywhere: Exploring the Similarities Between the World's Religions and Modern Science ~ by Gary Beckwith
Discover the truth about how all the world's major religions have the same common elements, and how Quantum Physics is now proving what the ancient religious texts have espoused for thousands of years. Gary Beckwith's fascinating book The Message That Comes From Everywhere is a must read for anyone who is interested in expanding their understanding of God and religion, and who wants to see a more peaceful world evolve.
The Science of Getting Rich
~ by Wallace D. Wattles
In this FREE ebook, Wattles explains how we humans have in our nature the constant desire to expand our experience. We are always striving to be more, to learn more, and to build bigger and better things. In order to be fully “available” to do these things, we must make plenty of money, so that we may free our time up from the toil of constantly working for such base things as food and shelter. Think about it: if you had all the free time in the world, and didn’t have to report to a Job every day, wouldn’t you be doing something fantastic for yourself and for others?

The Holographic Universe
~ by Michael Talbot
This book is one of the most fascinating I’ve read in recent memory, very clearly written and easy to understand for non-scientific types. I could not put it down! Talbot describes how many leading quantum physicists now believe that our Universe is actually a huge hologram, and that what we perceive on a daily basis is an illusion created by our minds. He draws on fascinating research by many world renowned scientists, including David Bohm's mind-bending work in quantum physics, and his holographic model of the Universe, as well as Karl Pribram's neuroscience research and his holographic model of the brain (but don’t let that scare you away!). These scientists provide compelling evidence that things are not as they appear to us. Talbot describes hundreds of different scientific experiments (all well documented) that call into question what we have always thought about our planet and our existence. He also suggests that seeing the Universe as a hologram explains much of the paranormal phenomenon that is otherwise unexplainable.

The Field
~ by Lynne McTaggart
The Field tells the story of respected scientists on the cutting edge of discovery who have produced extraordinary evidence to show that an energy field, the Zero-Point Field, connects everything in the universe, and we ourselves are part of this vast dynamic web of energy. The Field also reveals a radical new biological theory, that on our most fundamental level, the human mind and body are not distinct and separate from their environment, but a packet of pulsating energy constantly interacting with this vast energy sea. |

In Search of Schrodinger’s Cat
~ by John Gribbin
In Search of Schrodinger’s Cat provides a clear explanation of Quantum Mechanics, going light on the mathematics, while not losing the critical concepts of Quantum Mechanics. Gribbin gives a clear outline of the issues (or flaws) in classical physics, then rolls on into the development of early quantum ideas. He then progresses on to the modern quantum theories and applications. Gribbin has a great, engaging writing style and this is highly recommended for those seeking the science behind the scene. |

Conversations with God
An Uncommon Dialogue (Books 1- 3)
~ by Neale Donald Walsch
I first read these books about five years ago, and they remain some of my all-time favorites. Walsch accidentally discovered one night, in a fit of rage and frustration about how poorly his life was going, that when he wrote a question on paper he would get an answer from a source that claimed to be “God”. However, throughout the books, he continually questions the validity of the source’s claim, because he just can’t believe he’s actually talking to God. The source’s reply throughout is, (and I’m paraphrasing), “Have you ever had such brilliant thoughts yourself? Have you ever thought about things so clearly? And besides, what does it matter where it comes from? Does this information make sense to you? Does it feel right and true?”

Tomorrow’s God
Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge
~ by Neale Donald Walsch
Another great book by the author of the Conversations with God series (above), this one hit me like a brick and actually played a big part in my journey towards building this website. It describes a turning point in civilization that is occurring right now, where we must decide as a species whether we want to continue on this path of war and destruction or choose a different one. Clearly, the direction we’re heading is not going to have a good outcome, unless we as a species make some serious decisions now.

Holodynamics How To Develop And Manage Your Personal Power ~ by V. Vernon Woolf, Ph.D.Written by the scientist who developed the powerful transformative technique he calls Holodynamics, this wonderful book describes in easy-to-read prose how you can drastically change your life forever in mere moments. I know, that’s a huge claim to make, and I do not make it lightly. It probably sounds too good to be true to some of you. But believe me, this stuff works!!

Life And Teaching Of The Masters Of The Far East
~ by Baird T. Spalding
Written in 1924, these volumes describe the remarkable metaphysical acts and events witnessed by eleven scientists during their journey to the Far East. Baird T. Spalding and the other scientists spent over three years there in the latter part of the 19th century, watching and documenting these acts performed by what they called the “Masters” on a daily basis. The scientists also performed their own experiments with the Masters just to prove to themselves that what they saw was real. And although they were often astonished, eventually they all came to believe in the seemingly miraculous abilities of these Masters. |

The Power of Now:
A Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment
~ by Eckhart Tolle
As is often the case, I picked up this book at exactly the moment I needed to hear its message. I had been struggling with fear and worrying about the future, especially in terms of where our income would come from. Plus I had been hanging on to my lifelong tendency to try to control all aspects of my life (as well as some of the people around me). I realized through reading this book that I had been making two grave mistakes, both of which were feeding these fears.
