Caroline Myss is a medical intuitive who does a marvelous job explaining how our energy system connects to our core beliefs, and deeply affects our state of emotional, mental, and physical health. In her humorous and often provocative manner, she does away with the concept of “victim-hood” and describes exactly how we tend to give away vast amounts of our personal power to other people in our lives. We also sometimes lose power through the various “tribes” with which we associate. These tribes, which can consist of our families, our society, even our military, have their own sets of beliefs that deeply affect us and often slow down our spiritual growth. By disconnecting from these tribes and plugging into ones with a higher order of consciousness, we can drastically speed up our own growth and development. |
One example Myss uses to demonstrate this principle is the fact that some people take years to be cured of cancer, while others take only one powerful prayer. If we are associated with a group of people who believe that cancer takes five to seven years to cure (if at all), then no matter what medicines or healing therapies we take, or what kinds of organic foods we eat, we will take five to seven years to heal. Whereas if we’re “plugged in” to a group that believes it can take mere moments to heal cancer, then that becomes our rate of healing. Therefore, it behooves us to be very careful about the people we spend our time and our energy with—it can actually be a life or death decision!
These audios helped me to understand the energy system of the body and how those mysterious things called “chakras” really work. I think everyone should have a basic understanding of the scaffolding (so to speak) of our bodies. These energy systems are far more important to our health than the physical body. All illness first manifests in the energy system as a result of wrong beliefs or suppressed emotions, and then if they’re not dealt with, they later become physical ailments in our bodies. If we can understand them, and catch them while they are still in the energy system, we need never be physically ill again. Working with the energy system is truly preventative medicine!
